Built from hydrophobic Thermic stretch fleece with integrated elastane, it is equipped with a brushed grid backer for extra strength, as well as smooth flatlock seams and a rolled hem and cuff for outstanding comfort. Other key mountain features include a low-profile under-helmet hood with soft chin guard for draught-free insulation. This top provides a good amount of warmth and comfort in a nice looking package. The Thermic stretch fleece is versatile and durable so it’s worth the weight over lighter alternatives. It does a good job in regulating heat more effectively than normal, traditional fleece. It allows excess heat to escape when things warm up but in colder conditions that warm air can be trapped in to keep you warm. It is also really good at wicking moisture and dries pretty quickly too so it works really well for a range of outdoor activities.The Geon combines comfort, performance and value really well. This is a great all-rounder, from acting as an effective mid-layer in cold conditions to being a single outer layer in milder conditions this fleece works as well for hiking as it does for comfortable casual wear.
