At 362g (UK 8), its light enough for fast-paced days but still has the support needed for longer outings on variable ground. The rocker-shaped sole does its job well, rolling you forward with less effort, particularly noticeable on longer inclines or during descents, where energy conservation is crucial.The Gore-Tex membrane has kept my feet dry in persistent drizzle and on muddy stretches, while the 4mm lugs on the Mammut outsole have dug in well on forest paths, wet rock, and loose scree.
