The warmth to weight ratio is amazing, as you’d expect with top quality PrimaLoft Gold Insulation, with these gloves (weighing just 66g for the large size) and they have worked really well in some bitterly cold conditions. The gloves are thin enough to be highly dexterous which allows you to do more. However, they are not touch screen compatible so you do a lot of taking off and putting back on if you need to use a smart phone or touchscreen GPS.They have a simple elasticated cuff which I think works well enough. The palms have a durable PU covering which in creases grip but remains soft to touch.
