At 190g (Medium), theyre impressively light for a full 3-layer Gore-Tex trouser and pack down into a small stuff sack. The updated knee-length side zips make it far easier to get them on and off without removing footwear. The articulated knees allow for natural movement on the trail, and the offset seam placement helps reduce wear from abrasion and pack contact. Theres a proper fly, a simple hem adjustment system, and a close fit that layers well without bunching. The 20-denier fabric strikes a balance between weight and durability, although care is still necessary on rough terrain.
