It was more like a stew than a pie with a mash topping. Of course, it is difficult to recreate a pie in dehydrated form, but we thought the small chunks of potato, which did not hydrate well, detracted from the overall experience. The flavours were nice, it was well seasoned, and the beef was tasty, though we would have liked to have seen bigger chunks of it.
