The Reactiv lenses transition smoothly from a relatively light tint to complete protection (VLT 735%), and Ive found the contrast they deliver particularly helpful for picking out texture on snow or loose ground.The removable side shields do a solid job of keeping out glare from the periphery, and although they dont fold away, the design feels considered rather than cumbersome. Fogging hasnt been an issue, even on steep climbs in still conditions.
