At 235g (size M), they arent the lightest in my drawer, but they strike a solid balance between function and minimalism. The waistband is softer and holds its shape better than before. The integrated belt keeps the shorts firmly in place.The 7-inch cut gives good freedom of movement without looking too short, and the pocket layout works: deep hand pockets for on-trail essentials, plus a zip thigh pocket thats great for stashing a bar or compass without bouncing.
