New for 2020 is the full carbon, low profile FoilMount 3.0 Carbon. This compressed carbon plate is not only beautiful it is also incredibly strong allowing it to be thinner than the original FoilMount. This setup weighs just over 1lb so it is also about 30% lighter than previous models. The new curved shape along with it’s light weight and thinner profile make it incredibly low drag in the water. You cannot tell there is a track mounted on the bottom of your board while using it without a hydrofoil. We have also upgraded the included hardware. Because this system is so thin we had to invent a new hardware set that would work with any base plate on the market call the Wizardhat Hardware.
