Easily%20the%20most%20sought-after%20and%20asked-about%20ski%20in%20our%20lineup%20last%20year%2C%20the%20Countach%20110%20hit%20the%20ground%20running.%20Turns%20out%20there%20is%20ample%20room%20between%20the%20Wildcat%20and%20Commander%20collections%20to%20find%20that%20oh-so-sweet%20Goldilocks%20blend%20of%20playful-charginess.%20The%20Countach%20is%20easiest%20to%20define%20by%20what%20it’s%20not%20–%20neither%20a%20traditional%20hard-charging%20big-mountain%20ski%20nor%20a%20purely%20playful%20freestyle%20platform%2C%20but%20somewhere%20in%20between.%20Without%20metal%2C%20but%20certainly%20not%20lacking%20in%20brass%2C%20it%20can%20charge%20easily%2C%20cruise%20effortlessly%2C%20throw%20down%20at%20the%20drop%20of%20a%20hat%2C%20and%20still%20play%20nice%20when%20the%20legs%20are%20smoked%20and%20dogs%20are%20barking.%20Big-mountain%20athletes%20compete%20on%20it%2C%20while%20everyday%2C%20average%20skiers%20love%20how%20they%20can%20just%20get%20on%20it%20and%20go.%20Everyone%20who%20steps%20into%20a%20pair%20seems%20to%20come%20back%20knowing%20exactly%20where%20it%20fits%20in%20their%20quiver%20–%20relegating%20a%20few%20other%20pairs%20to%20the%20backburner%20in%20the%20process.%20Another%20season%20daily-driving%20it%20ourselves%20and%20many%20of%20us%20are%20sorting%20out%20what%20to%20sell%2C%20donate%2C%20or%20move%20to%20the%20garage%20to%20gather%20dust.%20Built%20on%20the%20European%20beech%20and%20poplar%20core%20found%20in%20our%20more%20directional%20skis%20but%20dropping%20the%20metal%20in%20pursuit%20of%20more%20pop%2C%20more%20energy%2C%20and%20more%20compliance%2C%20the%20Countach%20sports%20a%20healthy%20shovel%2C%20deep%20tip%20rocker%2C%20and%20a%20low%2C%20supportive%20(but%20raised)%20tail.%20Burly%20enough%20to%20get%20anything%20done%2C%20but%20surprisingly%20forgiving%20–%20as%20tame%20as%20it%20is%20capable.%20At%20110mm%20underfoot%2C%20it%20packs%20plenty%20of%20float%20for%20all%20but%20the%20deepest%20days%20while%20offering%20a%20surprising%20amount%20of%20hardpack%20performance%20–%20punching%20well%20below%20its%20width%20and%20easily%20taking%20narrower%20skis%20to%20task%20in%20firmer%20conditions.%20Where%20the%20rubber%20meets%20the%20road%2C%20however%2C%20is%20just%20how%20supportive%20it%20is%20in%20chop%20while%20remaining%20surfy%20and%20surprisingly%20easy%20to%20pivot%20and%20slash%20through%20tight%20spaces%20and%20deep%20snow.%20Directional%20*and*%20playful.%20How%20you%20like%20them%20apples%3F
