They proudly cultivate some of the fruits and herbs on their own fields. Other fruits and herbs as well as vegetables come from farmers known to them personally. All ingredients are carefully verified to ensure that their products meet the highest quality standards.The majority of the meals use interesting combinations of natural ingredients with chunky vegetables, authentic flavours and more of a home cooked approach. Weve been lucky enough to test a variety of them and have always been impressed with the end results. Generally, we appreciated the good combinations of flavour, texture and portion size.The fill line for adding water to the packs is novel with a blue area from the bottom showing how much water is required. It is quite a subtle design feature that can be easy to miss and some form of internal indicator would be best but it still works. 9/10STAFF’S TASTE TEST – This was the highest scoring meal for LYO from our staff. Everyone enjoyed the flavour which was nicely balanced without being too rich. The penne pasta rehydrated perfectly and the combination of ingredients and flavour was excellent. A good amount of obvious chucks of vegetables was a nice addition and everyone felt you got a decent serving of meat too.
