At 572g (Medium), theyre heavier than many softshell options, but the trade-off is clear: proper protection when scrambling, kneeling or brushing through heather. The articulation is well judged, with a gusseted crotch and shaped legs that allow natural movement even with a harness or full pack.The removable belt works well, and the integrated cuff hooks are a neat touch for anchoring trousers over boots.
