A simple pre-elasticated waistband does the job well enough of keeping the trousers in place, but you dont get any adjustment, but I did find them comfortable, and they stayed up. The length ankle zips mean donning and doffing the trousers is easy, no matter if you’re using trail runners or traditional boots.
