It features Gore-Tex technology, which provides excellent waterproofing and breathability, making it ideal for various outdoor activities. The jacket is also insulated with PrimaLoft Silver insulation, which offers exceptional warmth and loft without adding bulk. Synthetic insulation will always be the best choice when incorporated into a wet weather shell, as it will keep you warm if it gets wet.I’m usually one for advocating for a layering system, which is still the case; a fleece and outer shell will be more breathable, but I see the merits of this jacket in lower-octane activities, leisurely winter walks, low-level-hill walking, belaying etc. It’s also a good layer for at home, dog walking and on the commute.The Duality has four pockets, a small chest pocket, two larger hand-warming pockets and an internal pocket, so you have plenty of storage options. The hood is fully insulated, adding warmth and wet weather protection.
