It is a very versatile layer that is excellent to shove into a rucksack side pocket or running vest when you aren’t sure what the weather has in store.Its features are minimalistic. You get one Napoleon chest pocket, which can accommodate a mobile phone. The jacket can be stuffed into this pocket, so it is brilliantly packable. Semi-elasticated cuffs cinch the jacket around the wrist, and a simple drawcord around the hem blocks wind from entering the jacket. It is incredibly lightweight yet still user-friendly.It’s more breathable than other Windshells I’ve used. It uses Montane’s wind barrier dynamic nylon, which is nice and soft against the skin. The soft nylon and the air vents under each armpit facilitate good airflow, so you don’t overheat. It’s also quiet.
