The warmth to weight ratio is amazing, as you’d expect with top quality PrimaLoft Gold Insulation, with these mitts (weighing just 64g for the large size) and they have worked really well in some bitterly cold conditions. The mitts are thin enough to be dexterous which allows you to do more than usual in a mitt. However, there is no touch screen compatibility so you do a lot of taking off and putting back on if you need to use a smart phone or touchscreen GPS.They have a simple elasticated cuff which I think works well enough. The palms have a durable PU covering which in creases grip but remains soft to touch.
